When I was younger, I always wanted to be my sister. She is my inspiration in life and always will
be. Liz was a big fan of volleyball and
used to play in grade school, high school, and even at the club level. Once she moved on from the sport, I took over
her role. My parents enrolled me in
travel volleyball at a club called Sky High when I was 12. I played there until I was 18 and played on
the top team for my age division every year.
My team has always been one of the best throughout the country. We even won 2 consecutive, national titles and
a 2nd place finish.
The reason I chose Jacksonville State University as my college
was partly because of the volleyball aspect.
The Head Volleyball Coach, Joseph Goodson, had recruited me to come play
for his team. I was swept off my feet
when I visited the campus in October of 2011 and that was when I knew I was
coming here.

ReplyDeleteI happen to be a fan of volleyball. I used to play in beach volleyball tournaments up until my junior year of high school.
